Our retail focused modified containers are lined wall to wall with 264sqft of square mesh panels for easy hanging and displaying of your items for sale. We also offer a multitude of compatible accessories to effectively display your products.

Our food, drink and ticket booth focused modified shipping container kiosks range from bare bone units that include two large flip windows for serving and a full electrical package, to fully finished modified containers complete with finished food grade walls and industrial style hood ranges for food preparation.  From clothing, to drinks, to food, to tickets, to artwork; our modular modified retail and food serving shipping container kiosks can be configured in any number of ways that best suit your needs.

Our mobile Pop Up Shops provide weather proof, secure, instant retail spaces that are highly functional, giving you all the benefits of a permanent site without the cost or commitment to one location.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Find a location. If you are looking at private property then you simply need the consent of the owner. If you are looking at city owned property, then you need to obtain permission from the municipal transportation services. If you are looking at the City of Toronto, then we can even help you here.
  2. Rent a popupshoprental.ca shipping container kiosk. We will arrange delivery and pickup to your location with no setup downtime.
  3. Display your products!

Pop up Shops

Pop Up Food Serving & Retail Shipping Containers for Rent or Sale.

We rent and sell modified Pop Up shipping containers by the day, week, month or longer but if you are looking for more permanent retail or food serving space we can custom modify a shipping container to your specifications. All of our shipping container modifications are done locally at our fabrication facility in Toronto, Canada (we never bring in modified containers from overseas). Contact our sales team for more information about how we can rent or build something just for you!

Pop up shops

20ft Open Side Container

Specifications:

Size: 20’ L x 8’ W x 8’6” H, Open-sided container with barn doors at one end. Ground Access.

Electrical: 115V, with Plug-in male connector for external hook-up. Two (2) Fluorescent Ceiling Fixtures, One (1) Light Switch, One (1) Duplex Receptacle.

Construction: All Corten Steel Construction, 16 gauge Steel Corrugated Panels, Structural Steel Frame, Marine Plywood Subfloor, Marine grade exterior paint.

Doors: Two (2) right side double-hinged double doors, with locking bars (19-foot clear opening), One (1) set of barn doors at rear with High-Security lock box (7’6″ clear opening).

Interior Finish: Walls: White painted walls with 264sqft Interior Gridwall Panel system for Retail display. Panels are mounted on walls and doors 2″ from wall surface. Ceiling, White, Finished Plywood flooring with clearcoat.

10′ Serving Kiosk Container

Specifications:

Size: New 10’ L x 8’ W x 8’6” H modified shipping container with 2 large flip windows (with serving counter). Ground Access.

Electrical: One 60amp electrical panel (ESA Approved), Four duplex recepticals, One 100w incondecent light and light switch. One infrared heater for colder weather

Construction: All Corten Steel Construction, 16 gauge Steel Corrugated Panels, Structural Steel Frame, Marine Plywood Subfloor, Marine grade exterior paint.

Doors: Standard double-hinged container doors with High-Security lock box or 3′ x 7′ man door with deadbolt. Two large flip windows with serving counter included

Interior Finish: Interior walls painted white
